Safe Communities recognizes four outstanding community safety projects at its 5th Annual BeSafe Awards Luncheon

At the 5th Annual BeSafe Awards Luncheon on October 18th, the Safe Communities Coalition presented four awards to organizations or members of the community based on Leadership, Collaboration, Advocacy, and Innovation.
Here is a list of the award recipients:
Leadership - Larry Herman, Director, Sun Prairie Public Works Department (pictured right).
Collaboration - Dane County Narcotics and Gang Task Force received by Madison Police Chief Noble Wray, Dane County Sheriff David Mahoney and UW-Madison Police Chief Susan Riseling (pictured above).
Advocacy - Ann Albert, Executive Director, SAIL (Supporting Active Independent Lives)
Innovation - La Movida received by Luis and Lupita Montoto and Diego Campoverde.
