Madison/Dane County becomes internationally designated Safe Community

Madison/Dane County becomes the 160th internationally designated Safe Community, the 6th US-designated community in the Safe Communities America network, and the first such community in Wisconsin.
This designation is under the auspices of the WHO Collaborating Centre
on Community Safety Promotion, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. Visit Karolinska Institutet and Safe Communities Foundation New Zealand, where our application for international designation is posted. We are #160!
